Back Exit Doors and North Side Walls

Finishing the north side walls was pretty simple. Both sections are built the same and they slid right into place as planned. The north side doors were a different story. In Studio, the doors looked good in a light grey. When the "radiator grilles" were put on, they didn't look as nice. So they were changed. Different color variations were tried and I finally settled on making the doors gold and the window covers around them a dark grey (in these pictures, the window covers over the doors are still light grey).

In a couple of the pictures, you'll notice a white door missing to the left of the exit doors. I forgot to put it in and had to go back and change it.

On the temple, the north exit is gated. The design of the gate is pretty much the same as the window covers but black. This matched the fence pieces that were ordered and so I tried them. They didn't look right because they were too big. The decision was made to leave the gate off.

I ran out of "radiator grilles" for the window covers so you'll see some of the windows uncovered (for the time being).

With the north walls completed, it was possible to complete the roof on the lower levels of the north side. The upper tier of the east and west middle sections were started but I needed to wait to finish them until I received the next shipment of parts. I didn't snap the larger roof sections in place because we were discussing whether or not to use the empty chambers of the main building as a time capsule.
